1. Meeting opened at 7:00pm. All Board members present.  St. Louis County Police Officer Dan Schroeder in attendance.  Two Village residents in attendance.

 

2. March 2014 meeting minutes reviewed. Minutes stand as presented.
3. Treasurer’s Report for March 2014 presented by JC Wheeler.

4. First Reading of Ordinance 02-014 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE VI: BUSINESS AND OCCUPATION, OF THE VILLAGE OF WILBUR PARK, MISSOURI CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 600.020 BY DELETING “STORE FOR RETAIL BUSINESS” AS A PERMISSIBLE TYPE OF BUSINESS AND REPLACING IT WITH “RESTAURANT”; PROVIDING FOR THE CURRENT MAINTE­NANCE OF THIS CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
5. Road and Building Commissioners Report presented by Rich Warren.

Six permits issued.  Weber Road homeowner requested rumble strips to be placed in front of his home after his parked vehicle was struck.  Weber Road is the property of St. Louis County and not the responsibility of the Village.  MSD Project Clear meeting to be held May 1 at the Weber Road Branch Library.

 

6. Second Reading of Ordinance 02-014 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE VI: BUSINESS AND OCCUPATION, OF THE VILLAGE OF WILBUR PARK, MISSOURI CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 600.020 BY DELETING “STORE FOR RETAIL BUSINESS” AS A PERMISSIBLE TYPE OF BUSINESS AND REPLACING IT WITH “RESTAURANT”; PROVIDING FOR THE CURRENT MAINTE­NANCE OF THIS CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
7. Solid Waste Hauling Report presented by Ben Gathard.

No issues to report.

8. Police activity report presented by Chairman Joe Wilhite.

Yard sale held at 9026 Rosemary.  No other issues to report.

Ordinance 02-014 passed by a unanimous vote of the Board.

11. Special Projects report presented by Sue Schleicher.

Village newsletter being updated.

 

12. Chairman’s Report presented by Joe Wilhite.

Discussed the MSD Project Clear meeting to be held May 1 and some of the concerns the Village has with this project.  Concerns included the repaving of excavated streets and the joining of new construction plastic pipe to the existing sewer lateral clay pipe.
