MONTHLY MINUTES

  1. Meeting called to Order at 7:00.  Board Members Neal Vohsen, Mike Edwards, JC Wheeler, Heidi Warren and Donna Gravatt present.  Village Attorney Bob Paster present.  Police Officer Dan Schroeder was not present.   We are in a web meeting because of COVID-19.
  2. April 2022 meeting minutes reviewed and accepted.
  3. There is no May 2022 Police Report

The ordinances are in place so police can write tickets and fine those who are                           tampering with cars.

4.  Road & Building Commissioner’s Report presented by Mike Edwards

At 9044 Kathleen, there is a crown in the road and the residents are scraping their              car when pulling into the driveway.  They had repairs on their car and are asking for            reimbursement.  Another resident has built-up the dip but it blocks the water flow of            the street.  The crown in the street is not new, the residents are not new.  Has there               been erosion?  Can the crown be scraped down?  Do we need to add culverts?  Neal,             Mike and JC will go look at.

There was a resident complaint of the tall grass at 9124 Dana.  That house is now for             sale.

5. JC and Mike were sworn in as Trustees.  All board positions stay the same.

6. Treasurer’s Report for April 2022 presented by JC Wheeler

Total Income                                       $10,261.07
Total Expense                                         $7,287.21
  Net Income                                        $2,973.86

April 2022 Profit & Loss Statement presented.  Balance Sheet as of April 30,                            2022.

The Public Safety Fund balance is $58,651.27.

Need Heidi and Mike to sign Signature Cards.

Starting May 2022, the police patrol payments will come from the Public Safety                    Funds.  This will be reviewed at the end of 2022.

Neal has document that needs to be notarized to accept road and bridge tax fund.

There was a $100 check deposited into the Sewer Lateral Escrow account.  There                    is a $3.00 per month service fee on that account.

There were a couple of sewer lateral estimates.  One of the estimates needs to be                   grandfathered in.

7. Waste Management Report

Report for 4338 Hershey that trash was not picked up.  There were 3 houses were                  missed.

8. Village Clerk Report presented by Donna Gravatt.

Three-day estate sale on June 24, 25 and 26th for a resident moving.

9. Chairman’s Report presented by Neal Vohsen.

The paperwork for 9039 was accepted at the house.  The front yard was cut but the                back was not.  Tomorrow the tree comes down and the back yard will be cut.                         Wilbur Park will pay the invoices and there will be a lien placed on the property.

There was an anonymous complaint about two vehicles parked on the street at                      9046 Kathleen.  Apparently the same license plate is on both cars.  Please have                      Dan run the plates.  Are they running some type of business from this property or                  are all of the cars property of the resident.

Neal received a complaint letter regarding the residents of 9049 Kathleen.  Letter                 says there are 5 adults and three children living in house.  Also complaint of                           vehicles parked in street in front of houses not belonging to vehicles.  Mike is                         going to send a letter inquiring about the change in residents and try to get a new                 occupancy inspection.  There is nothing we can do about vehicles parked in front                   of resident’s houses who don’t own the vehicles.

10. New Business

June 2022 meeting will be held at the Fire Department meeting room.  Anyone                      can video conference in if that is more comfortable.

Motion to adjourn made by JC and seconded by Mike.  Meeting adjourned at 8:32.
